Meet our 2024 Scholarship Winners!

Two scholarships were awarded at our final performance of Winnie the Pooh on December 8, 2023. One scholarship was for half of a year's worth of class fees and the other scholarship will cover one student's DASA exam fee.

Half Tuition Scholarship Recipient

Nothando Ngema

Nothando is a very talented and dedicated young dancer. Although often shy, her passion and intelligence come through in her dancing. She has a very promising future ahead of her in whatever she decides to pursue! Congratulations Nothando!

Exam Fee Scholarship Recipient

Sbusi Mazibuko

Sbusi was a new student this year, but it didn't take long for her passion for ballet to develop. She listens well in class and is very expressive in her words and movement. Sbusi would have loved to have done an exam this year, but was unable to afford it so we are very excited that she will have the opportunity to participate in 2024! Congratulations Sbusi!

The goal of Turnout Ballet Studio is more than just giving students the opportunity to develop their talents and interests, it is also about mental and physical development - our aim is to instill a passion for the art of dance in the students and serve as inspiration to all.

With two locations, Dundee and Uelzen, we have something for everyone - all ages and genders; whether your interest is technique, flexibility or you're just looking for a different way to workout. We are a member of the Dance Academy of South Africa (DASA) and are dedicated to providing high quality ballet instruction for all our students.
