Meet our 2026 Scholarship Winners!
As part of our annual tradition, two scholarships were awarded at our final performance of The Last Pearl on December 5, 2025. One scholarship was for half of a year's worth of class fees and the other scholarship will cover one student's DASA exam fee.

Unathi Nxumalo
Unathi has been a student with us for a few years already. She has been a consistent and diligent presence in her classes and always presents a pleasant demeanor that is lovely to watch. She inspires her fellow dancers and has big ideas for the future!

Liese Dedekind
Over the last couple years, Liese has become a very dedicated student. She has risen to multiple challenges in her ballet training, including stepping into a lead role in The Last Pearl concert after an older dancer was injured. Congratulations Liese on an excellent work ethic!

The goal of Turnout Ballet Studio is more than just giving students the opportunity to develop their talents and interests, it is also about mental and physical development - our aim is to instill a passion for the art of dance in the students and serve as inspiration to all.
We have something for everyone - all ages and genders; whether your interest is technique, flexibility or you're just looking for a different way to workout. We are a member of the Dance Academy of South Africa (DASA) and are dedicated to providing high quality ballet instruction for all our students.
